Our goals:
At SixPenny Designs, we are focused on creating elegant solutions to
overlooked problems. Although a simple goal, there are an
enormous quantity of under-designed products on the market that just
don’t work as they should.
We aim to take them on. One at a time.
Six Penny Island:
The company is named after Six Penny Island, a small island located at the mouth of the Mystic
River in Southeastern Connecticut. Over time, it has changed its shape
according to the whims of the river’s currents, shifting sands and
sculpting the grassy marsh. Like the island, those of us at SixPenny
Designs strive to meet the demands of our consumer market. Although
those needs may change with the tides of the future, we stand ready to
reshape our products as desired.
